Does anyone have any details on the WWI career of one Leutnant d. Res. Alois Evers? He served in the German Army in WWI in an unspecified capacity and later achieved the rank of Admiralarzt in the Kriegsmarine in WWII. In a portrait photo taken in WWII, one can just see what appears to be the WWI German Army Observer Badge on his naval uniform.
The 1928 Rangliste der Deutschen Reichsmarine lists him as a recipient of the EK II, Wound Badge in Black (Army issue) and the Turkish War Medal.
"The" Lt Evers(O) in FFA 57 actually also scored a victory on 2 Oct 1916 when he together with Uffz Pätzold(P) shot down a BE 2.
This Evers also probably received the Ehrenbecher...
