Hi all

I wonder if anyone has access to the Marine Ehrenrangliste(book), because I will have possible notes(if they are any) on his service within the Grufl Küst in Flandern in 1918...?

I have a list with over 1000 names who were Marine Flyers from the book, but this fellow is unfortunate missing.. :-/

For help thanks in advance
Gunnar

Gunnar,

I will post the question on my Forum concerning the Kaiserliche Marine. Some of the members have the Ehrenrangliste.

Best from Johan

Gunnar,

* *Sorry, yes, I have him as Evers, Oblt.d.R. Alois, an observer with Küsta III in (Apr18 ) - (Jun18 ) and then with KFA Flandern (Grufl Küst in Flandern) sometime in 1918 (probably AFTER his service with Küsta III). *Don't know how I missed him the first time. *I think I would have enough sense to check alternate spellings * * :-[ * * * *R.

Thanks Regulus and Rick for your assistance..

..and Rick, I am convinced now(after checking some sources) that his family name should be spelled Evers.

On the other hand, I have him in Küsta IV from late Apr 1918 until sometimes Jun-Jul 1918 when he went over to Küsta III, probably taken over the command when Leffler left.
Sadly I cant refind my notes when Leffler left for his Stab duties...

Puh..!

At last I refind a note when Lt dR MA Leffler was appointed Verbindungsoffizier V.O. in Kofl 4.

It was 5 Nov 1918, this date was NOT good for my earlier hypothese that he left Küsta III in summer 1918.. :-[

However it is still possible that got another "job" earlier in summer 1918 which could explain Evers service..

Anyone who has information on Evers 1918 service is still welcome to speak up...!

:-*

One more sidenote

It seems that Lt zS Killinger left the job as Marine V.O. in Kofl 4 already on 16 Oct 1918 and that Leffler was "nominated" for the job the same day, so 5 Nov could be a reconfirmation for the job or that one(or both) did meanwhile have some vacation..?
