USN and USMC Aircraft 1911–1919 Volumes 1 & 2 Published

Aeronaut Books has published the first two volumes of USN and USMC Aircraft 1911–1919 by noted author Colin Owers.

USN and USMC Aircraft 1911–1919, Volume 1 | Curtiss Part 1 presents the first part of the story of the Curtiss aircraft that developed US Naval aviation up to and into action in WWI. The story is told in unprecedented detail with 322 photographs, 7 multi-view scale drawings, contemporary diagrams and 3 color profiles in its 269 pages.

USN and USMC Aircraft 1911–1919, Volume 2 | Curtiss Part 2 continues the story of the Curtiss aircraft that developed US Naval aviation up to and into action in WWI. The story is told in unprecedented detail with 385 photographs (57 in colour), 3 multi-view scale drawings, contemporary diagrams and 21 color profiles in its 265 pages.

Volume 3 is currently in preparation.

Do these books only cover the curtis aircraft or do they have any details about the Fokker DVII that they acquired after WW1.
I would love to learn more about the DVII in marine service.

The D.VII will not be covered for a few more volumes. Vol. 5 will cover the Foreign acquisitions during the war that were used by the USN in combat. The D.VII is a post-war acquisition.
