The Schnieder Trophy winning Sopwith Tabloid replica that was being built at Brooklands Museum has been completed and is now on display. The aircraft was handed over to the museum by Tommy Sopwith, son of Sir Thomas Sopwith, with the daughter of pilot Howard Pixton and relatives of Harry Hawker also present, on the 27th November 2013, 100 years to the day that the prototype Sopwith Tabloid flew from the same site. A previous post shows some pictures with the aircraft under construction:

It was decided to leave half the aircraft uncovered so that the construction methods which are the same as the original could be seen.
