Photos of Palestine, taken 1917/1918 by the Bayerische Fliegerabteilung
Maybe that's new and interesting for some of you.
Here's a link to a page of the Bavarian State Archives: Findbuch online Most were taken during reconnaissance-missions (bayhsta_bs_palaestina_0778), some have a touristic touch (Findbuch online) or even an artistic attitude (bayhsta_bs-palaestina_1261-p) and a few even show airfields and aircraft - german as well as turkish (bayhsta_bs-palaestina_1258-c) or even submarines (bayhsta_bs-palaestina_1343).
