Wilkommen to the second installment of
Breguet's FOKKERJ Flieger Schule Crash File Challenge Nr.II
Congratulations again to DrakeGoodman for showing all of us how this is done.
Here ends the second BFFSCFC.
Please bare with me while I attempt to fine tune the bugs out as this is a work in progress.
; )
Also, while I will try to post new Threads here as much as possible, I am only able to do what is humanly and humanely possible!
Remember that this Challenge is open to anyone that is not an ACE on the regular Breguet's Crash File Challenge!
Any score achieved here can be added to the BCFC up to and only for a total of 05.00 points.
Note: There may be a possibility of anyone eligible to play here to go ahead and achieve a total of five points here to receive their Pilot's Certificate to carry over to the regular BCFC!!!! We shall discuss it as this is still a work in progress.
It is hoped that you will seize this opportunity to hone your identification skills here to grow and move onto the BCFC.
My intention here is to promote Aircraft Identification skills with easy to intermediate images of "Winged Wrex".
They don't always have their wings!
Hints and Tips
Identify the country to narrow possibilities
-Check for Iron Crosses or roundels
-If there are no Identifying markers use things common on certian countries designs (Scalloped trailing edges for the central powers)
Use identifying feature of WWI aircraft
-How many wing/fuselage bays does the wing have
-How Many engines
-How many guns
Drakegoodman has earned one full point for correctly identifying our Winged Wreck and a third of a point for additional information.
NOTE: Drake you can bring this up, from a third to a half for additional intel on the Flight.... Pilot would be nice, but not necessary.
If you do this small thing, I will update the score!
If you do, check the S/N while your there, because I have misplaced my "Time travel Tix"!
NOTE:DrakeGoodman has earned the rest of his point and a half for his help in the correct ID of this "18Mar18 Ltn.d.R. Thuy-19 Sopwith Camel B3781, 12.50 Zverveseeve 79
#B.3781, Naval 10, F/S/Lt. G.T. Steeves, POW"
The Score Board after BFFSCFC #2 Sopwith Camel: "Sopwith Camel B5663 or B3781 (?) with a 150 hp Bentley BR1 rotary engine. 10 Naval Squadron."
I need to research the S/N!
Unless someone else has it handy.
1.5 Drakegoodman
1.5 RobW

IMPORTANT: Read the RULES carefully!
The Rules
1. To be eligible for correct ID an answer must include at least one characteristic of the aircraft that helped in it's identification.
1a. Any additional information concerning our subject Machine, Pilot, Unit, or Event can be worth an additional fraction of a point based on the quality of the intel provided!
2. All aircraft are of the 1914-18 period (Must have left the ground during this period).
3. The score board, link and rules must be copied to the beginning of each thread, so that we know where we are. The score board and the correct answer to the challenge must also be placed at end of each thread.
4. All Flieger Auszubildende/Airmen Trainees with a score of over 01.00 or higher must obey the 3.0 hour handicap. All others with a score of ZERO to 1.00 may start immediately, if not sooner! Offenders will be dealt with severely! These scores include any that you already have acquired on the BCFC! This allows time for a little research when necessary, but allows the beginner with a jump start!
4a. The most recent Winner must wait the 3.0 hour handicap before submitting a correct answer on a new challenge, but is still eligible to add to their score with additional information of the Machine, Pilot, Markings, Unit, or Event! :P
5. The final arbitrator of all things to do with the "rules" is The Host.
If the Host is incapable of making a proper decision, either Breguet or FOKKERJ will make the final call.
For your educational and entertainment only, I submit the following:

I hope this one isn't as difficult as the first one was on me!
HAPPY HUNTING, FOKKERJ Feuchtwanger
