You could have made it 270!

Not time yet to comment on the plane wreck!

Breguet, while it's true that you are "LORD OF THE FILES", you may just have to wait until you win a challenge and have the honor of playing host. In the event of such an occurrence, it is entirely up to you whether or not you choose BCFC #270 or any other number that satisfies your fancification!

Of course this is just a suggestion!

As always, Thanks for the advice, I will file it where it will best be served!

HAPPY TRAILS, FOKKERJ

GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE!

After a lengthy discussion with the "HEAD" Judges, it has been found that you are correct! It is indeed a Rumpler C.IV. I really had to go out on a limb on this one with the panel of experts! Just for you! They do prefer a detailed explanation sometimes, depending on their mood.

This well earned point brings you within 6.4 of the much coveted
"le B.M." (le Breguet Medalle)!

I would like to take this opportunity to suggest that you name the next one BCFC #270!

It's actually "Le M.B." (le Medalle Breguet)

And why, pray tell, would I do that when it is actually #271?

Also thanks for the great challenge - for me it was the taper at the lower wing root and the upper wing cut out that gave it away.

Kind of like the Albatros C.III I had shown recently, the upper wing cut-out is very distinctive on many of these.
