D.VII's with Eisenkreuze in service?

Kind of curious about something. There are photos of 244/18 with old style insignia and there are several shots of Jasta 10 early D.VII's with markings in transition ie wings in old style, fuselage in straight crosses.

Do we know if they flew any missions in either Eisenkreuze or mixed EK and straight crosses?

Thanks,

Chris

But did it fly missions?

I have the fabric special that has the photos of Friedrich's bird up on it's nose. It appears to be at an operational airfield but I was wondering if it ever flew missions in those markings? Also, interesting to see the yellow nose in the profile. It can be hard to tell if they had yellow noses at that point because often the film makes yellow look very dark.

Thanks,

Chris
