Adler Models?

Has anyone else heard of Adler Models? I came across them on E-Bay while searching one of the merchant's E-Bay Store listings. There was a DH 5, Pfalz E.IV, and Pfalz E.V in 1/48. A close-up of the advertisement photo of the box seemed to indicate that these were 1000 copy, limited run, injection molded, with metal parts, decals, etc. No pics were seen of the actual contents. The merchant also sold A-Model and a few other known brands. New stuff?

Never seen these ones. Anyone have any info? Pfalz E.IV and V would be nice in this scale...

Never heard of this!

Tried a little search and found what I knew already:

Cars, motorcycles, sewing machines. And I think there were also typewriters, all from Germany.

Can you post a picture of the box?

Not sure if this will work. Here is the E-Bay item number for the Pfalz E.IV and hopefully, the box image is attached.

Yeah I saw the pictures on ebay after searching for 1/48 Pfalz, not much detail but short run plastic, photoetch and white metal parts, sounds similar to the Blue Max kits plus photoetch, would love to see a kit review or built up before spending $33 + $10 shipping (great shipping price from Ukrane or Russia whereever they are located)
May be a good kit but I won't be able to afford to be the first to try them

Thanks for posting the picture and number. Without knowing the quality of the content I am not going to spend 33 bucks though.

Hey Guys,
Why not ask the seller to post extra photos of what's in the box.I've done this a few times , never been turned down unless the kit was still sealed.Just a thought.
Regards,
Gregory Jouette

Gregory had the right idea, attached are photos sent to me by the ebay seller, I do not have his seller name but do an ebay search for pfalz EV 1/48 and he's the only one to appear.

Looks like the two Pfalz have common decals and photoetch, not sure what else is common since I have no plans for these aircraft.

Yes, he finally sent me the requested pictures, too. I think the Pfalz E.IV and E.V differed, according to the box art, in that the E.V appeared to have an inline engine. You will notice a difference in the fuselage sprue parts and the metal engines.

They do appear to look nice from the pictures.
