No, I haven't had him disembowelled Stephen was good enough to send me a huge wad of photographs with the thought that I might find them useful for my site. His kindess extended so far as allowing me to do with them whatever I wish. As the triplane page on my site was way overdue for a retread I have used some of this bounty to expand it. I hope I have done Stephen's generosity justice. Thanks Stephen.

Beautiful work, but that being said I still maintain that the Dr1s built by Lord Greystoke are superior.

Michael;
That's a tall order. Let's see them.

Peter,
Not to change the subject from Stephen's excellent Tripes; I took a look at your site. I have bumped into bits and pieces of it from time to time when a particular subject was referenced from another site but I never made the connection with "Peter L". Was just looking at your Snipe conversion from a Camel kit. You are a true masochist. Talk about a serious case of AMS! Great job but oh the pain! :

Now there's someone who would profit from Modelling Health 401. That cat knows nothing about PPE!

Thanks Bob, I suppose it's okay to hijack my own thread * I got a real kick out of the Snipe and the Dh5 and have a hankering to repeat both in a larger scale. The eyes are going, I need my reading bins to see anything smaller than a Volswagen and the days of working gun rings in munchkin scale are long gone
