Question Is EASTERN EXPRESS no longer existing?

Hello!

In a modeller shop I heard the following news (or rumours):

Eastern Express is no longer existing. Orders are not accepted, questions or requests are not answered.

Is that true? Do I have to get all their kits I could reach or will someone else (maybe Roden?) take ofer the remains of the company? Or is this just a wrong information to increase sales of their kits?

Any hints?
.
