I noticed Squadron no longer lists....

the Hi-Tech 1/32 Albatros DV in Presell. Instead, it's listed as "temporarily out of stock" in the regular kit listings. Has this kit finally been released?

I would have to SAY NEG GHOST RIDER THE PATTERN IS FULL !

Our GOOD Phillpe Jordon must Please make his presence known and ANSWER for us on this one ! ?

I've had it on pre-order with Squadron for near (Five ?) years now and it hasn't arrived. I must suspect even Squadron must have limits to what it considers a Pre-sell item?

YET I HAVE FAITH In our good Brother in France to produce this product ? !!!! (PLLLESSSSSSSSASAESAESEAESESSSSSEEEE ! )

Yours truly mike

I hate to be a naysayer but I don't believe this kit will ever see the light of a hobby lamp. You can only cry "wolf" for so long until no one believes you anymore. I feel sure Squadron got tired of putting it in Presell, but why list it as "out of stock" particularly if it hasn't even been released as a genuine kit?

My Same THoughts as well my friend, Only I am afraid to voice same opionon less Phillpe be offended and Truely NEVER release this Kit !!!

This a pretty Sore One for me becuase this pre-sell pre dated Battle Axe's First release. I have since aquired ALL of those Over Priced Lumps od Resin moldings for the mere Absence of Phillpe's Kit !!!

It has been such a tease which I gave up so long ago and then got back on the band wagon hoping Praying it would come to my shelf, Much the same I have to say for TOm's Modelworks AM Detail Set for the Hobby Craft Camels and Spad's !!!

Iam Still WAITING ???!!! How did that Heinz Ketchup COmmerical GO ?...

ANTICAPATAAAAAAAAAAATION,, It's Making me Wait ! It's Keeping me WAAAIT-TING !!!!

Yours MIke

PHILLPE JORDAN PLEASE Interupt your vaction in the ALPS long enough to answer us and give us a NEW Update as to your intentions ???? WIth Regard to this release ?

Yes... it is coming...

Hi friends...

I am not in vacation in Alps....
I am working on a new "future" for Hi-Tech....
As you know, I provided last year and beginning of 2006 year, VOISIN X, SNIPE and SALAMANDER....

About ALBATROS DV, remember my previous post, where I said that, last year, I placed this project in "Stand by" waiting to see what would do major Cies with this new infatuation for 1.32 WW1 models... Now, I have my marketing opinion about... and I relaunched this project some month ago...

Now, I am working on the new "future" of Hi-Tech.
For... personal reasons, I stoped my collaboration with my usual moulds-maker Cy, also all forecasted projects was delayed.
Now, I am in a strong relationship with a new and professional moulds-maker, building a partnership with this strong Cy, that is building a "models division" in his activities.
Cy and me, are working on new moulds, for the 1.32 ALBATROS DV, that would be available in... end November, December, but also on other projects as 1.48 GOTHA and one other 1.32 German Two-seaters.... You will know in time....

I don't know, if you knew, but I am a small Cy, and like a lot of small companies, we are tributary of subtractors... for moulds mainly ( If I was casting resin, no problem... of course... ) but with "short-run models", we are between cottage-industries and major Cies... and we are living, according the "good agree" of substractors.... enought is enought....But this is my problem... and reason of my new way...

Now I know, that the ALBATROS DV is listed since some time... it is my fault, because, I spoked about it since long time... Mark Miller do the Artwork for etc...
But more is longer, more is better....
On my side, I never presell it, I never received "one cent" for reservation...

But I understand, that it is "setting" to wait it, especially for enthusiasts...
.... and me, what did you think, that I mind about.....

So, now, he is on "right way", and, as I will have some 'test-shots" frames, here, on The Aerodrome, you will be first to see ....

All things in time

Better to have it done right than have it done Battleaxe. Judging by his past kits, Phillippe's D.V will be worth waiting for.

Roden DIII

I wonder if they will package DV parts in the DIII box like the triplane kit?
