4 Years of Thunder

Just finished watching a 4 part TV series, 4 Years of Thunder, seems quite good, is a general overview of the history of pre WW1 and WW1 aviation from both sides during WW1.

Details planes, development, major personalities from both sides and has some nice footage of replica planes from both sides flying.

I downloaded it from a bit torrent source so imagine it has been out on TV in the UK or the US.

Well worth a look, no major issues uncovered or discoveries, just a good, honest, unbiased presentation of what happened.

That series appeared on The Discovery Channel in the US. Some months ago, The Discovery Channel was having a clearance sale on their website, and I purchased a set of VHS tapes for the series at a very modest price. I don't know if the sale is still going on, but you might want to check The Discovery Channel website if you are interested.

Four Years of Thunder

Have enjoyed this set on VHS since it was released and am now looking for it on DVD, in a US compatible version. Does anyone know if it is available anywhere?
