Just got through re-watching this 4 volume documentary on the air war during WW1. I think it is very well-done and covers a variety of aspects of the war. Comments on it from others who have seen it? And any other documentaries that you might recommend? I've seen one about the Baron, but can't remember when or the title.

I've got it on VHS, but I wonder if Four Years is now available on DVD? Anybody know?

Line up a flask of hot mulled wine.....climb into the cockpit and let the VHS roll !!!!!! I think Ive just scored the MvR video on ebay so will let you know if its a good 'un when it arrives from Uk to here 'downunder' If anyone out there has not got '4 Years of Thunder' then you are officialy declared as a 'forumite'.......... I can see were you are coming from on my username! I call myself that because Marines in the United States Marine Corps are called Devildogs. And I am planning on joining to be one, but I do need to stop using this username...

I got my copy of FYoT the cheap way. . . recorded from The History Channel
 Have to FF through the commercials, but it's worth it.Just as an aside, the "Devilpups" is (are?) a real organization. Its sorta like the Boy Scouts on Steroids for children of Marines. DP, why do you have to stop using that username? |
