Hate to burst the balloon Gary; but the C1904 model SE5a (Billy Bishop) retails at $235.00. It's not the $3200 version...

Best wishes,

Grovetown,
WRONG! That's my point! LOOK AGAIN! It IS the $3200 "Deluxe Version"! Read ALL details again! 10 "Deluxe Version" models of "EACH marking", including Billy Bishop's C'1904 scheme were made!
"DELUXE VERSION: Full cockpit details including framing and cross bracing, built up Sutton safety harness, complete instrument panel including readable instrument faces (magnifier required) and connecting copper piping, Control column assembly including Lewis and Vicker gun triggers, and Constantinesco CC fire control timing gear. Full engine details including, spark plug and wiring to magnetos, connecting copper piping to radiator and fuel tanks, and throttle lever assembly to engine. Full markings including individual factory markings, parts inspection markings (15 positions) and Palmer tyre markings. This version is limited to 10 of each marking. There are more than 1,200 parts in this model. Price is $3,200 on special order. A 4 page brochure is available for $4.00. SOLD OUT"
My "Deluxe Version, serial number 34/115 S.E.5a" has ALL of these modeling details listed above!
Here's another "Deluxe Version" pic: (Note the "Palmer" tire ("tyre") markings, as described above)
Regards, (NOT "balloon bursted" Gary Sewall

Thanks Stephen! It will go GREAT with that "DDN" D.VII you were kind enough to provide me!
Here's a blown-up pic of the WIRE BRACED (!) cockpit detail! It's just AWESOME in detail!
Regards, Gary Sewall

Well someone sure is excited and I am RFC green with envy
Well done, looks like you will enjoy your find.
Does it say what scale it is?
Are the non-deluxe versions the same scale without the fine details?
All the best

Glad you liked it, and congrats. I'm sure sorry you didn't get to build it tho. Better luck next time . JW
