work of art
I know this has nothing to do with models, but as this is the only area of the forum I look in on I felt it best to share it with you guys.
Many thanks to Russell Smith for producing a cracking print!
As you can see from the picture ( one I prepared earlier - albeit in a terrible way, with horrible light and much reflection.) Russell's 'A Flight of Blue Birds', really is a work of art.
My choice of blue and red mat board really adds to the image.
This is not an advert for Russell, just reconition of his work.
Happy days
Bob the jet-set international buckle maker!
it helps if I add the image! DOH!!

Many thanks for that great endorsement, Bob. The framed print looks great. I am really pleased with how these giclees are turning out. so far, they are very true to the originals. I just went in for the press check for "The Golden Triumvirate" on Thursday and will be going in for the press check on "Uncle Sam's Boys" on Monday.
For those of you who have not seen my recent thread about new print releases, here it is:

cheers

the jet-set international buckle maker!
Bob,
I spend most of my time in the "Models" section too, so naturally most of my friends are here. And when something WW I comes up that isn't necessarily "Models" this might be where I'd rather post too. You want your modelling buds to see. And some of us don't stray to the other sections. I will go to the other subjects every now and then, but this is where you'll most always find me.
Great print and choice of matting.

Ah can't merge
Gee, you guys ought to get out a little more often. Don't worry, if you feel like you're getting lost , you can always hit that "back" button up there in the upper left corner.
Hey, Russell, that's gorgeous under glass, too!
