Can anyone up there in the frozen wastes confirm that Hobby Craft yet lives. E-mails to various traders regarding the availability or otherwise of the decidedly ot "Civilschmitt" have been met with an ominous silence. Do I need to stock up on the 1/32 OT stuff?

What do you expect? eh, It is hard to hear with those earmuffs on and besides the phone is in the other igloo.By the time they put their beers down and get their parkas on it probably has stopped ringing anyway.E-mails? forget about it ,they wont be in until the next dogsled delivery weeks from now.Cheers! Their website is up and running, if difficult to navigate. Their search engine is pretty duff as well

Hobbycraft
Yes, I saw that. But the latest update I can find is a future release date for some Iraq war tanks due in October 2003. Did they show up? A friend insists he heard months ago that HC were going tits up, but I can find no evidence to support that. The dark side has little interest for me lately, but I should hate to think we shouldn't have a 1:32 DrI after all.

C'mon you guys! You all have been watching old Hollywood movies. As I am typing this, the weather outside is 23 C (thats 76 F for you Yanks) , and I just finished vacuuming my pool. No sign of igloos, snow or ice, nor have I seen anybody wearing parkas or earmuffs!

I have just received a reply from Hobbycraft regarding my query of the 1/32nd Fokker DR 1. Their reply was " the Fokker DR 1 has been delayed and is presently in its final stages. No release date has been set".

I agree with the previous statement - their web-site is a "bummer" to navigate!

And don't forget... Vote Bubbles for Prime Minister on June 28th !
