The first single-seat scout of the Halberstadt works was the DI in late 1915. I have no production numbers. One report for January 1917
stated that there were about 100 DIIs and DIIIs
in service.
** The only model in 1/48 I have seen listed is one
by Passchendale (looks expensive to me) for a
Halberstadt DII. However other bomber/support
aircraft are available (and a little cheaper):
Tom's Model Works makes a Halberstadt CLII and CLIV. Blue Max makes a CLII and Copper State
makes a CLIV. That model information is from the latest mailing from Sopwith Hobbies POBox 560442

P.S. Merlin Models made a Halberstadt DII in
1/72 but they are hard to find.
