Another fairly novice question I suppose...were there any distinguishing marks of the australian fliers during WW1...moreover, where can I find information? I am making a 1/72nd scale model, and would like to "style" it up as an australian plane...any instructions?

Oscar,
Ian has given you good advice. Cam's site is the best.

Oscar,

As Steve kindly pointed out, there is an Australian Flying Corps Website with plenty of text, mindlessly boring details and profiles of aircraft.

http://members.xoom.com/PointCook/index.htm

The website has had a tonne of content contributed to it from forum members such as Andrew Smith, Gordon Branch, Killratio, Vin Ryan, Paolo Varriale and more recently Hannes Tager contributed his research on German Aviation Reports on the non Western Fronts. So plenty of stuff there to go through.

There are also profiles of AFC aircraft, so depending on the aircraft you are modeling there are plenty of choices on the page.
