Hi, Iīm new to this forum. wasnīt looking for a WW1 forum on Aces, but I got to admit itīs Phenomenal!ī

I donīt want to brake any rule regarding the matter of the forum: just Aces! : but.......
Iīm interested on information related to a particular WW1 Italian Aviator, Ferruccio Guicciardi !

I think he is credited with 2 aerial victories against the Austrian, mainly over the Alto Adaggio territory, was born in Modena and flew with Baracca.

ŋCould you lead me on this?
Will aprecciate your help.

Great site.

Now that's a really unknown personality, and not a very relevant one. All I know is that sergeant pilot Ferruccio Guicciardi, from the city of Modena, was flying with the 2a Squadriglia Artiglieria (Macchi Parasols and Caudron G3s) in early 1916, earning a Bronze medal. In April 1916 he was with the 71a Squadriglia when it was formed. He was wounded in an air combat on 29 April 1916. In early 1917 he was with the 70a Squadriglia, the one of Francesco Baracca, and he remained with that unit when the 91a Squadriglia was formed with its best pilots. He was still with the 70a at the end of 1917, but there is no report of him after that date. He is not quoted by Italian sources as having scored any victory. To whom it may interest, I have a photo of him.
Best regards.

Roberto, I may be that kind of person! Perhaps Guicciardi is not a very relevant people on this circles, still, any pertinent information is of my interest.

I couldnīt find anything anywhere, so I decided to try my luck on this site; Here aparently the main focus for most are the number of kills on the field, thatīs Ok for me. But in this particular case, more notable and noble biographical achivements before, during and after the war may be of much valuable historical importance.

Iīll be glad with all the info you can provide me.

Regards.
