German recce
The Germans had the same needs for aerial reconnaissance and artillery spotting that the Brits and French did. And they did it.
What were the units the Rumplers, LFGs, LVGs, und so weiter were attached to? Feldfliegerabteilungen? Where did these units fit in the TO? Division? Corps? Army? I shall be grateful for any help. If you are German and have links to German-language sites on this subject, that will be most helpful. Thank you. |
