Italian Aviation Units in the First World War
Written by Roberto Gentilli. These are superb! Finally the Italians are given the treatment their contribution to the air war deserves. There are five volumes, all retail at around £48. Superbly detailed with lots of unknown (to me) photographs of units, pilots and aircraft, as well as pages of great artwork. I have only bought two so far, (volumes three and four) but the histories of the units, including the naval units, make these "the cat's pyjamas". I shall invest in the others when I can justify the price to myself and my family. Highly recommended for those buffs that like to explore the less popular theatres of the WW1 Air War.
