Question Phoenix KG, Lohner M, and A.H. training seaplanes and flying boats

Hi! I was looking through Wings of Linen Miraheze (more specifically the Phönix company page) when I noticed a note that read " The KG was a more powerful and larger version of the Phönix A, but only a single prototype was built." If you are unaware the Phönix A was a license produced version of the Hansa Brandenburg W.18 with several changes made to the design by Josef Mickl. See https://www.super-hobby.com/zdjecia/1/0/7/19053_rd.jpg (Phönix A),https://www.armedconflicts.com/attac...5165_175_1.jpg (Hansa Brandenburg W.18). If anyone has any information on the Phönix KG I would be grateful if you would share!

3 other smaller questions, what was KG the designation for in the A.H. Navy? (I know for a fact that it does not stand for the Phönix KG, one source lists 128 type KG in service with the A.H. Navy. Also, does anybody know how many Lohner M flying boats were supplied to the A.H. Navy? Finally, does anyone have any information on A.H. trainer seaplanes and flying boats?

Questions

Hello Ezra,

Questions:

1. KG = Kampf-Grossflugboot
2. Lohner M flying boats: 5 planes (E17 - E 21)
3. Schulflugboote: K.u.K. Seeflieger (p. 58 - 60)

As to information on the Phönix KG I I haven't found any info yet.

Regards,

Jos

Thank you for responding! The Phönix KG has baffled me for a while. I have only 1 source that would suggest that it even ever existed, no photos, side profiles, or statistics whatsoever. As for the Lohner M I don't have much either, for some reason it has 2 Wikipedia pages titled Lohner M and Lohner Type M, both are small, provide some statistics and one even suggests that it was operated by the Kaiserliche Marine, a claim I can give no validity to. Thanks again for sharing!
