Rickenbacker's postwar victory credit

A nearly-forgotten discovery from my time as secretary of the aces assn.

LONG ago (c. 1960s) there was a USAF announcement upgrading EVR's score to 26.

Gofigger.

I've looked & looked but find nothing online. Anybody have a handle on it?
