So, where was my Grandfather?
Hello!
I have a letter my Grandfather wrote while he was in France in 1918. Censorship being what it was, he never mentioned just where his 182 Aero Squadron A.E.F was located. Here are his only geographic references that might hold a clue for a WW1 historian: Personally I feel as though I am playing rather an inconspicuous part in this game being so far from the front... and, in reference to a family he came to know: They live inland somewhere and come to the beach every summer for a vacation... I want to read , "they come HERE to the beach", but that an assumption. Any ideas about where he might have been or where to find out would be very welcome. Kevin Korotev |

182nd Aero Squadron AEF. Established 22nd November 1917. 31st May 1918 - March 1919 Trained as a Service support squadron in England. Demobilized March 1919.
