Aces By Month

We are all fascinated by the aces, and their scores. And when discussing Aces we tend to invariably talk about their cumulative scores.

But that's not how they lived, fought and almost always died. It was on a day by day basis, each day a battle to fight and survive. Let alone triumph.

So I wanted to break down the aces scores to a format that would allow comparisons (we all luv comparisons), at the same time illustrating who were the really deadly pilots at a particular point in time. Monthly seems to work best, using the ace scores listed here at The Aerodrome.

Aces are listed by month, with the order of highest to lowest scorer. And in parenthesis is their cumulative score to date.

So the first table attached is for 1915, when the first aces started to appear. Due to the limited format approved for upload, I've had to make it in pdf format.
It's as complete as I have been able to make it so, but if anyone finds mistakes/omissions please let me know and I'll correct the list.

As I complete the following years I'll post them.

It is a small list now. Imagine 1917 and 1918.

Even '16 is building up. To make it workable I'll probably limit the number shown any one month in '17 and '18.
