I've downloaded quite a few books from archive.org. It's also quite handy if one wants to look through some old books to see if they're worth purchasing. I used the site, for instance, to determine which public domain books had the best maps before buying them. Copies made from the archive.org viewer are not of suitable quality for publication.

For instance, I first viewed History of the World War, by Francis A. March, at archive.org before buying it. I used two maps from that source, which I touched up a little, for Flying Fox. That was the only reason I bought the book.

The Air Force link does not work. Hubby is an airman. I have questions, I can ask him. Otherwise, very nice! I love how many WW1 books you can find.
