I'm personally acquainted with Kip Lankenau and his wife Debra. It's a blessing that everyone will recover from this. It'll be interesting to see where it goes from here. Kip put a lot of time and effort into building a beautiful machine. Having watched all of the videos, he seemed to really enjoy flying his creation. Best wishes on a fast recovery!

I don't know Kip or his wife but please pass on my best wishes for a fast and full recovery. Im sure he will be gutted regarding the Aeroplane but they can be rebuilt or replaced, people cannot and having lost two friends last year I am pleased to see both guys walked away.

It has been said a few times before. It is good news the injuries were none to the passenger and not too serious to Kip. Compound ankle fractures can be tough to heal from.

May he have an uneventful recovery.
