Marie Marvingt

One of the remarkable women in WW1 was Marie Marvingt who was a French citizen.

https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marie_Marvingt

…She participated in three aerial bombardments: in 1915, she won the Military Cross for attacking a German barracks in Metz. However, she had participated only in order to replace an injured pilot and was not permitted to join the Armée de l'Air .

I’m seeking to establish any primary and reliable secondary source material in order to document this extraordinary individuals participation(s) while flying for/with the Armée de l'Air .

Any suggestions as to who might have this information at arm’s length would be appreciated
