Has anyone digitized these news letter published at Issoudun ?
I saw MKEARNEY here at the 'drome looking to complete his run of them with the suggestion they would be digitized. Does anyone know if that ever happened ?
TIA,
Mike

Very hard to find as you know Mike. The earliest issues were mimeographs as well. There are some very early issues at the Theodore Roosevelt Center. They may have more digitized. I am not sure. I will keep checking at the Library of Congress holdings as well. So far, only book references. Steve
OK Mike. I found a little more. Fold3 in Gorrell's---M: Miscellaneous--12: Copies of Newspapers Published by Air Service--Pages:16 thru 126 has all of the November 1918 to February 1919 editions plus the special souvenir edition digitized.
You may already have those. Also check out Lt. Col. Hiram Bingham's book "An Explorer in the Air Service" if you have not already. He has a page or two of the editions in print as examples in his book but gives the entire lay out of how the newspaper came about, how it was printed and its history. Steve
Thanks for that. I have a copy of Gorrells including Series M, so will extract from there.
I do have the Bingham book as well. I'm working on a couple of things regarding Issoudun and this will be very helpful. Thanks very much for the assist.
Mike
