Funny, no price but also no details as to what you get or don't get.

All true. I just thought some of our members would find it to be interesting.

It's strange. They don't show a photo of the actual aircraft, just a vintage photo. If you check out Boschung Global's website, there is no Caudron listed in their inventory. If you Google Caudron and serial number 3143, you'll find nothing but this ad. The aircraft is not mentioned in either of my books on surviving WWI aircraft (the latest one published in 2016).
Finally, the contact's name is Thouseef Khan. I know about the DH9s found in India, but it still seems unusual for someone selling a French aircraft from WWI. Caveat emptor.

Yeah, I was disappointed by the lack of details and asking price. I suppose it's a case of 'If you have to ask, you can't afford it'.

These early Caudons are…
.
… really interesting aircraft (at least for me). They were designed when it still was not clear, how an aircraft should look like. Especially the Caudron G.3 can be looked upon like a strange mix between a Blériot XI tractor and an early Farman pusher. The original design of these "siesters" (G.3 and G.4) somehow looks as if being designed as a pusher engine before they started to assemble the parts.

At least two machines of the Caudron G.4 type have survived in museums, but it would be really nice to see an airworthy replica…

Yes, I agree on the asking. However, if your going to sell something, at least toss a few bones out as to what you might be looking at. I have seen projects for sale in the past that were no more than a few sticks and a data plate.
