Swiss balloon in Germany
There is a mentioning in Swiss newspapers of a Swiss balloon which "escaped" to Germany. Information is vague, not even the precise date is clear:
> Approx. date: 9. November 1916 (it could also be 10. November) > It crossed the border to Germany near Lörrach > Ballon went down into the woods between Zell and Schönau > Crew was allowed to return to Switzerland by train > Balloon was given back to Switzerland afterwards I am aware that this is absolutely not a major event... nevertheless, I was wodnering if any of the forum members wold have access to photographic evidence of this case or if there is any mentioning in German sources? |
