Pensuti 2
Hai
I did a lot of collecting of materials and inquiring to Breda aeroplanes.'
One of the earley types was the Breda-Pensuti, based on the Pensuti 2.
This project was bought by Breda from the Pensuti family.
In several publications they are writing about the Pensuti 2, Caproni-Pensuti. I dont understand why, this because the following reasons.
1. This aeroplane was build at the factory and not by the factory;
2. In two pre-war books about Caproni aeroplanes/projects the Pensuti is not
mentioned.
3. The project was sold by the family of Pensuti to Breda.
This was a private designed/build aeroplane and not owned by Caproni, so the correct name of this small triplane was Pensuti 2.
If it was a Caproni owned project is would not be possible for the family to sell it to Breda.
Some one started with this name and a lot of writers accepted this name without inquiry.
Pensuti 2 because before the Great War he designed and build already an aeroplane.
