Replica crash

It appears that he got airborne conducting taxi testing in gusty conditions. Does anyone know about this? The pilot is identified as Rodney Wright of East Corinth (I presume Maine, as the airport is in Maine) The Facebook post I saw indicates he is deceased, although that is not in the news report below.
