5-Color Camouflage 'lozenge' fabric
This is a piece or original, undersurface, camouflage 'lozenge' 5-color printed German aircraft fabric. It measures 26-1/2 in. x 19 in. or 67 cm x 48 cm and has a thread count of 56 threads per inch. Very little dope is applied except for a small amount along the bottom edge. From the Michael Baldwin Collection. It is shown here by itself and with a copy of issue no. 129 of World War One Aero, the cover of which had an exact photo of the same type of original fabric printed at full-scale. I posted this on the Aeroconservancy facebook page and it received a lot of interest so I thought I would share it with guys, as well.
