Bristol F.2b number D2751 - Information requested

Does anyone have information concerning a Bristol F.2b number D2751?

Specifically, was D2751 a real manufactured and assembled aircraft number? And, if so, was it flown during or after the war? Any and all details, along with appropriate references, would be appreciated.

One of a batch of 150 numbered D2626 to D2775. Built by Marshall & Sons, Gainsborough. Fitted with a Sunbeam Arab engine.

This from 'British Military Aircraft Serials 1911-1971' by Bruce Robertson.

Cheers,
Tony

The only thing I can add is that this machine was taken on charge in March of 1919. It was one of nine that month. In April there were only three and the remaining ten on the contract, D2766 to D2775, were canceled. The contract (AS35822) was let on 5 Dec 1917 and canceled April 1919. The contract subsequent were nearly all canceled, so this was one of the last machines actually delivered.

Some in this small batch have been identified as having gone to Lincoln AAP with re-allotments to Weston. I also looked at the Imperial Gifts lists and the sales to Commonwealth nations and it did not turn up on the lists I have. So it likely stayed in service in the RAF.

Hope this helps narrow the search. Steve
