Kermit Weeks Sopwith Snipe at Oshkosh 2018
Another one of Kermit Weeks machines built by Sir Peter Jackson's TVAL that was at Oshkosh Air Adventure 2018. Extraordinary machine with an original Bentley Rotary. Authentic to the very last detail. This one is in William Barker's colors when he earned the Victoria Cross. Kermit intended to fly it and actually worked off the hours to get it ready for Oshkosh. He did start up this machine but related to me that after some preliminary weather and airfield looks, they decided not to fly it. We were all so very grateful he brought it and the three other fine WWI machines for us to examine. He is truly preserving lost engineering and pilot know how with is work and flying.
