Tail skids on pavement

While I don’t think I would plan on it, does anyone have any experience with tailskid airplanes on asphalt or concrete? I’ve never actually heard any first person experience. I know there are skid equipped planes out there like Piets and Tiger Moths, so would be interested to hear.
Thanks!
