Stéphane,

Do you know Jacques De Ceuninck? He wrote a book, in 1998, about the airmen of WW1 buried at Tournai cemetery. He might help.

We have had a thread on Froidmont during the year if I remember well. Completely inconclusive, and I suspected that no available research had been done on this airfield. Normally, one searches the communal archives for traces of the piece of land chosen by the Germans, its requisition, workers asked for working on the field and the like. Same as for Taintignies maybe. I am currently searching for all i can get on the WWI Belgian airfields, so I would like to get some feedback if you find something. And don't mind...
Besides this, I am waiting for next year and fresh vacation dates to go to the Musée Royal de l'Armée and search the airfield files.
