100 years ago today - 9 July 1917
MONDAY, 9 JULY 1917
Very little work was possible owing to rain. The only ‘casualty’ I have noted is - Maj G B Ward (Ok) & 2nd Lt N D Armstrong (Ok), 10 Sqn, BE2f 2559 - engine failure on take-off and force landed just outside aerodrome on ferry to 1 AD Graeme |
