The above picture may be of interest to some. It was taken 12th April 1947 and is of a reunion of 14 Squadron RNAS. Others on here will know better than myself but I think 14 Squadron used to be called 7 Squadron. My grandfather, George Bones, served with them during the war and is present in the picture here. The 'key' that came with the picture is below.
The highest ranking officer in the picture is Air Commodore H G Brackley who was CO of 14 Squadron RNAS and won a host of honours for wartime service. A close up picture of him is below, sitting underneath the Squadron sign. My grandfather was sitting three seats to his left and can be seen standing up below. It looks like he has said something amusing!
