Hauptmann Gustav Kastner-Kirdorf
Hello und gruss Gott to all !
I'm searching a photograph of Gustav Kastner-Kirdorf during the WW1. Someone from here has one ? Thank you and regards !  PS : Do you know the reason why Ernst von Gersdorff, CO of Kagohl 1, was died in Metz, in june 1916 ? Last edited by Webuhlan; 18 January 2017 at 02:21 AM. |

von Gersdorff was killed flying a Fokker-Einsitzer assigned to KG 1. He was probably shot down over Novéant-sur-Moselle in the Lorraine sector. The french pilot Jean Chaput, Esc. N57 claimed a german plane that day near Varvinay.
