I am working to gather a complete "digital" run of the "Plane News", the Army Air Service newspaper published at the 3rd AIC, Issoudun, France from Nov/Dec 1917 to April 1919. I have consulted materials and catalogs of the Library of Congress, New York Public Library, Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, Gorrell's History, and the Lincoln Presidential Library; the following universities: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Yale, Tulsa, Virginia; and my personal collection. After all this, I am unable to locate ANY copy of the following 5 issues:
Vol 1 No 1: Nov/Dec 1917
Vol 1 No 2: Nov/Dec 1917
Vol 1 No 11: Feb 9, 1918
Vol 1 No 18: March 1918
Vol 1 No 26: May 18, 1918
The first two in this list will be single sheet, two sided, mimeographed (purple) issues titled: "What Do You Call It?" The editorial staff held a contest in the paper's first two issues to choose a name. Consequently, these issues may not be clearly associated with the "Plane News" and be classified/catalogued as something else. Vol 1 No 3 takes this form. A copy can be found in the Sagamore Hill collection as part of Quentin Roosevelt's papers (He trained at the 3rd AIC before his death):

The remaining three missing issues should have a recognizable masthead.
Any assistance you can render to help locate these issues would be greatly appreciated.
