Al valore militare

Hello and thank you for the acceptance!

A year ago i have bought a big collection of greek and world coins and a few medals from an 87 year old gentleman in central Greece. I did not give much notice to a medal tha i found al valore militare... I do not collect medals so i dont know much about them. The medal in not in pristine condition.

The Inscription on the silver medal says:

AL VALORE MILITARE
CIOTTI RICCARDO
30 NOVEMBRE 1916
REIFENBERG

Some Italian send me a couple of photos of a book with a little text in Itallian.

Any help would be aprreciated about the originality, the condition and the value!

Thank you,
Andreas
