Hi Barry

Yes indeed it is Armistice Day - and as it is nearly 1000hrs, I need to start making tracks down to the local Memorial to pay my respects - particularly as it is the 100th anniversary of that murderous battle; the Somme and the related air war above.

Cheers Russ

Oh My, How I remember, 78 years ago at the age of 8 I was in school in Augusta MI. and I can still see myself standing up to face the east at 11,11,11 for one minute. I loved the airplanes of those days and built many models over the years. Back in the 70's I got the plans for the 7/8 scale of the SE5a from Canada. Then talked my son Craig to build it as Capt McCuddens ship. . I am still flying it but sorry to say, we missed the DPR at Dayton this year. If things go well I am looking forward to be at the 2018 show and it should be big, as it will represent the END of WW1 and I will be 88. KEEP FLYIN. Chuck
