Pfalz A.I 30/15 Photo

Hello All,

Currently on ebay at :

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Original-Foto...kAAOSwh2xX~8Qs

is an extemeely interesting photo of A Pfalz A.I? with the serial 30/15. This is interesting as it is presumably an ex Bavarian machine given a national serial at a later date. Previously the highest numbered machine known in this sequence was A 25/15. Leading one to ponder whether A 26/15 to A29/15 await future discovery.

Also the photo album listed contains further aircraft largely Pfalz machines.

Since my initial post the seller now has a second photo album at :

http://www.ebay.de/itm/WK-I-Kriegser...YAAOSwCGVX~8Xl

Regards,

Clint

Thanks Sator for the kind words,

For all interested in Early Pfalz machines the user has now posted a third photoalbum with images of further machines at:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/WK-I-Fotoalbu...kAAOSwNRdYAJID

I believe that I can definitely see the number 23 on the fuselage of one of these aircraft but am unsure about others. I'd be very grateful if anyone reading with better image enhancement skills than my own could inform use all as to the serials on aircraft shown in this third album.

I'm also interested on whether the photo of the C Type with the wing mounted MG shows Albatros C.I 62/15 as I believe. This machine having served with FFA 3b

Regards,

Clint

Hallo,

23 and 62 seem like the best contenders, fuzzy though they may be.

Hello Seeflieger, Hello Josef

Thank you both for the reponses. With regard to the photos of Pfalz aircraft, I take it that you would tend to regard the photos shown ofn pages 11 and 17 of the album as being the same aircraft?

Regards,

Clint
