Carl Menckhoff photo in Anthony Fokker book
Some years ago whilst attending a second hand book fair I was drawn to a book about Anthony Fokker and or Fokker aircraft. In the book there was a number of photos of the airmen taking part in the German fighter aircraft trials of 1918. One of the photos I seem to remember seeing was of Carl Menckhoff with two other airmen possibly Goering and Loerzer.
Unfortunately, I was skint at the time and the £50 price tag was out of my range so I made the decision not to buy which I have regretted ever since. I have recently been trying to find this book on the internet but unfortunately I do not know the exact title. I know that the book I am looking for is not Fokker - The Man and the Aircraft, and as the book I am looking for is at least A4 size then it is unlikely to be Flying Dutchman The Life Of Anthony Fokker. Could any of the experts on the Forum help me discover the exact title of this book or at least another source for this photograph to aid my search. |
