stuart c elliot 85 Squadron

Can anyone tell me when this pilot joined 85 squadron? He is mentioned in some photographs as present in the late June but is not shown in any reports of the squadron until post war. Although I believe that in the famous photograph JD Canning is present which is odd because he didn't join until 27 June.

I have read that on 21 June 1918 the squadron consisted of 3 americans (Springs, Calahan and Dymond), 2 New Zealanders (McGregor, Inglis), 2 Australians (Horn, ?), one South African (Daniel), 6 Canadians (Carruthers,Dixon? ), 2 Scots (Randall. ?), one Irishman(?)? , and six Englishmen (Abbott, Baker, Brewster, Brown, Cunningham-Reid, Longton).
