Smile Query on Enemy aircraft color

http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/sh...rch+Whitehouse

Were there any Jastas at this period that had a green-white Albatross color scheme?

You could start with the Saxon Jastas. Helmut Dithey flew a D-V with green and white stripes....

Dilthy's DVa of Jasta 40 had green/white bands not stripes, photos in Hannes Täger's recent book on Carl Menckhoff shows Jasta 72s were flying a mixture of (possibly) Green and white striped Albatros DVas and Pfalz DIIIas, but their only loss in June 1918 was Ltn. Hansjörg von Dechend on 16/06/18. Jastas 21s , 22s and 24s (although the Saxon pilot Wackwitz J24 apparently had 12 inch white/green/white bands painted on his rear fuselage) were never painted green/white which only leaves 44s and 54s unless any Prussian units had green/white markings.
