Further to my previous question regarding Lt. A.P.F. Rhys Davids, was the notice of A.P.F.RD's death which was dropped by the Germans ever photographed or saved? (I believe that a similar note from the German Air Service informing the RFC of Major Lanoe Hawker's death was at least photographed) Does anyone know what was written on the note(eg where Lt. Rhys Davids fell) etc? Also, were there any pbotographs of the crash site/wreckage ever taken? Again, many thanks, Strutter15

Strutter - Alex Revell's "High in the Empty Blue" book doe have a photo that he suggests may be the wreck of Rhys (no hyphen) Davids.... Not sure if he later recanted that as it does not appear in his "Brief Glory" work.
